LNER Colleague Showcasing Yorkshire Suppliers Ahead Of Yorkshire Day

LNER Shines A Spotlight On Yorkshire Suppliers For Yorkshire Day

To celebrate Yorkshire Day (Saturday 1 August 2026), LNER is spotlighting its Yorkshire catering suppliers with treats onboard services, as well as a special pop-up showcase at York railway station.

Customers travelling with LNER on Saturday 1st August 2026 will be able to discover a taste of Yorkshire courtesy of suppliers from Harrogate, Leeds, York, Doncaster and beyond.

Based in Leeds and known for their bold flavours and independent spirit, Northern Bloc will be one of the suppliers joining the fun with samples of their Super Strawberry ice cream. Selected shortbread from Lottie Shaw's, famous for its traditional Yorkshire bakes, will also be on offer throughout the day. Both will be available at York.

Onboard favourite, 'Hop on Board' ale brewed by Rudgate Brewery in York will be available in both First Class and Standard. Further Yorkshire-produced tipples will come from Ellers Farm Distillery, Libations rum, and Dutch Barn vodka. Exclusive offers for LNER customers to use online with Rudgate Brewery and Libations will also be handed out onboard and in York.
