LNER is inviting the public to a special Evensong service at Doncaster Minster to celebrate the life and work of famous railway engineer, Sir Nigel Gresley, ahead of the 150^th anniversary of his birth.

LNER has revealed further details of its special service to mark the start of Harry Styles’ UK concerts. Named the ‘Together, Together’ Train, it aims to treat people with kindness by raising funds for numerous charities across the LNER route. The train will depart Edinburgh Waverley at 08:30, bound for London King’s Cross on Friday 12 June 2026. 

Overnight Wednesday night into Thursday morning (4 June 2026), an LNER Azuma train was carrying out further, important viability tests on the Midland Main Line, away from its usual route.
