LNER Newark Northgate Team 2

Teamwork At Heart Of National Award Success For Newark Northgate Station

Great teamwork is key according to LNER colleagues at Newark Northgate Railway Station, after they clinched the prestigious ‘Medium Station of the Year’ title at this year’s National Rail Awards.

Newark Northgate beat off stiff competition from stations including Dundee, Rochester and Biggleswade. The award celebrates the dedication of colleagues across every area of the station who work together each day to support customers and maintain high standards. The accolade comes as the station prepares to mark its 175th anniversary in 2027.

Newark Northgate serves thousands of customers each day and now benefits from quicker journeys and more weekday trains to and from London King's Cross.
