More Than 3.5 Million LNER Advance Tickets Released Ahead Of Summer
LNER customers can now lock in their holiday plans as almost four million tickets go on sale today (Thursday 12 March 2026) for the key summer travel period.
Advance tickets are now on sale as far ahead as Friday 4 September 2026 (excluding the August bank holiday weekend), up to twenty-four weeks before some customers may choose to travel.
This will be the first summer where customers can take full advantage of the new LNER timetable which launched in December 2025, offering more seats, more trains, faster journeys and even more great value fares.

The best value LNER fares are available when booked direct on the LNER website or app. With no booking fees, customers can select their preferred seat and receive live journey alerts both on their mobile and by scanning the QR code on the back of their seat onboard.
